Gay Ski Vacations

WinterPRIDE week is arguably more of a gay and lesbian ski event than Aspen's Gay Ski Week. WinterPride is like gay pride with flair. It includes a parade, skiing, parties, and a moderate dose of palpable excitement. Many North American resorts organise women-only ski events or same sex guided group tours as, apparently, they've found that women thrive better at learning without competitive male show-offs in the group. Many  organise women-only sleigh rides are specific to these weeks.

You might stay  at the luxury Park City condos, three miles from the resorts and slopes. Guests that arrange to stay further away from the event will be less likely to be kept awake by the noise of busy nearby dance clubs and more likely to find that the amenities in their rooms actually work. These hotels often have outdoor hot-tubs to jump into after a long day of skiing.
