Tuesday April 8th 2008: HOT NEWS -  there are some 30,000 spare tickets for this year's Glastonbury festival. It's a bit of a pain to order, but we think it's well worth it. There are 2 steps to order the tickets that cost £155 + a booking fee.

Tickets

Step 1)
Use the following link to "register" with your email address (no charge) and you will need to upload a cropped digital photo (passport style photo). You will need to use the address that your DEBIT CARD is registered to (apparently you can't pay by credit card unless you live overseas - to prevent ticket touts). Each person in your group will need to register with a photo, and one debit card can pay for up to 4 people. http://www.glastonburyregistration.co.uk

Step 2)
Once you've registered you ... wait ... until you receive an email from the organisers with your "registration number" after they have approved your photograph - again, this is to prevent ticket touts buying loads of tickets and selling them on eBay. The email may take up to 24 hours to arrive. Once you get the reference, either phone 0800 079 2008 or you can use the following link to order your tickets for up to 4 registered friends at a time. You will need to have a debit card for payment (not a credit card unless you live overseas). http://www.seetickets.com/g2008/

or Tipis...
Each tipi in a village of 400 tipis accommodates 6 adults comfortably, and will be available for use from the morning of Wednesday 25th June until 3.00pm on Monday 30th June. The cost is £1,730 per tipi. This includes up to six festival tickets. Each person over the age of 12 in your party will need to be registered with the Festival. One member of your party will need to have the registration numbers and contact details of all of the party, plus the means to pay the £1,730 to secure tickets and the tipi. Tipis can only be booked by calling 0844 412 4625 or 0044 1159 934 183 from overseas.
